Protect the schedule before the move begins
A Beverly Hills move may involve property management, a building service entrance, or a private driveway with limited room for a truck. Give us the exact address and tell us who can authorize access. If a manager or household contact needs to be present, coordinate that person’s availability with the planned moving window.
Street loading and truck access should be checked against current Beverly Hills guidance. The city has its own public right-of-way and hauling information. Do not assume a rule from a neighboring city applies. Discuss the vehicle and loading position before arranging any required permit or reservation.
Make a separate list for delicate or valuable pieces
Point out artwork, instruments, delicate finishes, large mirrors, and furniture with fragile components when requesting the quote. Photographs and dimensions help us assess the handling. Tell us whether there are original cases, assembly instructions, or existing condition concerns that the crew needs to know about.
Business insurance and protection for the value of your belongings are different topics. Ask for current coverage documents and the applicable valuation terms before moving valuable items. We review specialty work separately so an ordinary household estimate does not become an assumption about every object in the home.
Give large furniture a measured route
Measure doors, hallways, elevator openings, and tight turns for the largest pieces. In a multilevel home, describe which furniture belongs on which floor. Include exterior steps or a long path from the truck. The route through the property can determine how a piece should be prepared and the crew needed to move it.
Standard furniture disassembly and reassembly are included in billed moving time. Keep removable hardware together and identify anything you have already taken apart. If a piece needs specialist installation rather than normal furniture assembly, discuss that before booking.
Clear hourly rates, with the scope agreed first
Our standard local rates are $89/hour for 2 movers and a truck, $129/hour for 3, and $169/hour for 4. There is a 3-hour minimum, followed by 15-minute billing increments. Fuel is included. Your rate, arrival window, and any separately quoted work are confirmed by text before moving day.
The hourly rate covers loading, unloading, basic packing help, blankets, tape, and shrink wrap. Stairs and carries up to 75 feet have no separate access fee. Time still applies. If you want full packing, we review the inventory and materials rather than assume the calculator’s allowance is the final price.
Plan the arrival at your new home
Mark rooms clearly and decide where larger pieces should be placed. Confirm that the delivery building has approved the move and that its elevator or loading area will be available. Share any COI wording and deadline with our office early enough to review the requirements.
Our movers are background-checked W-2 employees, and our team’s LA moving experience dates to 2020. We confirm a specific arrival window and offer 10% off if the crew arrives after it. Call (213) 222-5712 to discuss a Beverly Hills move, a route elsewhere in Los Angeles, or a farther destination. We will review the access and scope before confirming your booking.
